Strength and Salvation

Post by Joyful » Tue Feb 13, 2018 6:24 pm

Psalm 21 :1-7
The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD;
And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 You have given him his heart’s desire,
And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah

Today as I read these scriptures I could not help but take note that David was content and grateful because His God was the strength he leaned on daily and a place where he could bring his heart’s desire to God in prayer.
The psalmist declared in the strength and salvation of God he found great joy.

Has he continued David’s trust and confidence in God is evident.
Has I read this Psalm verse 3 speaks to me of the
Great care and love God has for His children.
(For You meet him with the blessings of goodness;)

Continuing to read the verses of this Psalm one cannot help but take note that David wanted to share that he found Joy and Gladness in serving God.
You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.
7 For the king trusts in the LORD,
And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.

As we read this psalm may we find hope and encouragement knowing that God’s presence goes with us. True contentment can be found in God . Joy and gladness can spring up in our lives in knowing God’s loving hand on our lives , just has it did in David’s heart.
God bless you today and keep your hope and faith in God and you too will be able to say On Christ the solid rock I stand.
21 The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD;
And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 You have given him his heart’s desire,
And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah
3 For You meet him with the blessings of goodness;
You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.
4 He asked life from You, and You gave it to him—
Length of days forever and ever.
5 His glory is great in Your salvation;
Honor and majesty You have placed upon him.
6 For You have made him most blessed forever;
You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.
7 For the king trusts in the LORD,
And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.

Col 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience
Has believers we are to be different and this scripture tells us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
We need to clothe ourselves with these things daily if we are going to influence our world for Jesus . :amn
