Beloved,
Peace is a state of mind that arises from a heart at rest.
Rest is a way of life.
Peace, Rest, Shalom does not require an absence of problems,
It does require an intentional choice,
To trust lean and rely on Me.
I told you that in this world you will have tribulation…troubles…trials.
But I also said that you can take heart (courage) because I have OVERcome the world.
When your heart is troubled,
Or your mind begins to race,
When your spirit is disquieted,
Come apart to simply be with Me.
Rest secure in my love.
Calm and quiet your soul
By coming to Me
Then lingering in My presence,
As long as it takes.
Rest is not the absence of troubles.
Rest is trusting God in the midst of them.
We ARE the Beloved of the LORD, therefore we can REST secure in His love...no matter what life brings today.
Deut 33:12b "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders."
Psalm 131:2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child is my soul within me.
John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
